You bought the text and we will cover Chapters 1-5. It would be great if we had the time to cover the remaining chapters because you would find them interesting. Each chapter is the begining of a future course.

Chapter 6:  Number Theory. Enough to explain cryptography the way it is used on the web to send credit-card numbers (There is no number-theory course at Montana State University).

Chapter 7:  Group Theory. The beginnings of a standard "Abstract Algebra" course (M431 at MSU).

Chaper 8: Topology. A simplifed introduction to topology, addressing the simplest example: the usual topology on the real numbers (M511 at MSU).

Chapter 9:  Calculus. The usual theorems and proofs of calculus for sequences and derivatives, just like an "Advanced Calculus" course or a "Real Analysis" course (M383 at MSU).
