Abstract: In this overview talk, aimed mostly at graduate students, I will talk about a range of problems in biology including gene regulatory networks dynamics, cell membrane economics, ribosome abundance control, data analysis and modeling of isothermal amplification and mixed infection of wheat. Due to time limitations, I will only state why the problem is important and what mathematics and data analysis I think are important to address the problem.
