How Knot to Find a Fractal

In this talk I will discuss the combinatorics/elementary number theory of a class of knots/links: 2-bridge links. I will introduce this class of objects and derive several recursive polynomials associated with these links. The roots of these special polynomials display a fractal-like pattern which leads to some natural questions (for which I have no answers).
