Abstract:  Dr. Megan Wickstrom will share results examining how pre-service secondary teachers incorporate their understanding of mathematical modeling into the work of teaching. The group will examine features that influence the work of teaching modeling and analyze artifacts to understand challenges and successes in designing and teaching modeling tasks.
