Abstract:  Dr. Fulton will describe her current program of research and how it relates to themes of mathematical knowledge and practices for teaching. She will share research in applications of teaching in college mathematics content courses, teaching mathematical modeling in elementary grades, and pre-service teachers understandings of area units and conversions.
